Media and studio technician
What:
A Vancouver-based design studio known for its flexible modular furniture, space partitions, and lighting made from paper and textiles. As a studio technician I collaborated with the team in research, development, production, and delivery of products. As media I contributed to the creation, customization, and promotion of molo’s ethereal and innovative designs.
Why:
molo’s products, such as it’s iconic paper softwall and cloud softlight, are born out of the pursuit for flexible and sustainable design. The sculptural nature transform spaces with whimsy and function.
How:
In the workshop:

Crafted and customized products: Assembled and tailored products to meet client specifications. M odifying dimensions to fit specific spatial configurations and ensuring seamless and precise finishes by hand.

Prototyped and tested designs: Assisted with research and development for new materials and products.

Quality assurance: Conducted meticulous inspections to maintain the studio’s high standards before shipping to clients worldwide. In the studio:
