Work
Aug 2020 - Jun 2024 / San Francisco, US + Seoul, KR
LVIS corp is a medical software company in the field of neurology. I was a UX Designer for their digital product NeuroMatch, a medical software for detecting neurological diseases and the first to leverage the combination of machine learning, big data, and the cloud for accurate pattern recognition tools.
Responsibilities and experience have included the full design process; problem identification, research, ideation, wireframes, prototyping, testing, and re-evaluation. I was involved with each step of the product development cycle from the initial prototype through to FDA submission and finally market launch.
Jan 2021 - Present / Kobe, JP
I worked with the school to design a comprehensive digital literacy and graphics program for students. I produced course plans, lesson materials, tutorials, and projects introducing students to computer literacy and the tools needed to creatively engage with learning. The goal was to provide students with their first interactions to technology responsibly, safely, and informed while giving them the agency to creatively express themselves with digital tools.
Feb 2018 - Jan 2020 / Vancouver, CA
As studio technician my responsibilities included assisting in the research and development of product prototypes and designs, assembly, customization, repair, and the shipping of products to clients. I also worked on media tasks specific to my skillset such as product catalogue updates across print and web, graphics for product use guides, image editing for press and website galleries, and video editing for social media.
Dec 2014 - Sep 2017 / Kobe, JP + Osaka, JP
As the computer graphics and sciences for young children I introduced safety, proficiency, and literacy in the digital space. My curriculum focused on computer skills that encourage independence and self expression. This included standard skills like typing, navigation, and safety, to the more complex like programming, animation, and modeling in 3D.
I provided wider IT help to the school and produced media in the form of photography, videos, and graphics used in teaching material, branding, advertising, and events.
Jul 2011 - Dec 2013 / Vancouver, CA
As a quality analyst on titles such as FIFA, Battlefield, and Need for Speed I was a part of different teams responsible for constantly improving the quality of these games. This was achieved through test planning to find bugs and exploits inside the games, hardware, web, and companion applications. I would later move onto the "Fifa Ultimate Team" online fraud team with investigations.
