What:
An ambient lamp providing visually and aurally soothing white noise.
Why:
Rain is beautiful. To bring the sounds and sights of falling water to you.
How:
The tank is made from small picture frame glass and squarium silicone The pump is an easily sourced off-the shelf 5v USB submerged pump. The light is a repurposed LED Cob bulb power by a 5v USB. The rainfall lid comes in 6 individually 3D printed parts
- Cap = Hides the components and covers the top
- Lamp shade = separates the LED from any liquid and diffuses light
- Sprayhead = controls the flow of water from the pump
- Drip Tray = can be swapped for different drop patterns and further diffuses light
- Rack spacer = allows spray head and drop tray to be separated
- Cover = Hides all of the rainfall components and covers the tank
