What:

A modular system for organizing handheld devices.

Why:

With a growing number of devices, a storage solution was needed that allowed them to be stored efficiently while still being easily accessible. It also needed to have flexibility for future changes in layout with the addition or removal of devices.

How:

A universal rack was created that could be easily adjusted for length. The rack uses slots for holders to be slid into. This allows quick reorganization as needed. Holders are designed once using a standard base shape and then customized per the device size and shape. This method ensures as little material is used as possible and parts can easily be reused or printed to expand the slots as needed.
